- To be clear, what these guys were doing was bad and wrong. . However - This asbestos may not even be of a form that is harmful. Even if it is, oonce buried the asbestos poses no ongoing hazard whatsoever. It's a rock, it won't "poison" anything.

- This article doesn't even cover the fact that chain repair shops rip people off as a matter of practice. They have bottles of various fluids on their tool carts - they show you new "leaks" that your car has. . Dealers aren't much better! . Find an independent shop - get to know them.
